I wanted to share one of the most authentic, vulnerable, informative interviews I’ve been able to be a steward of at Global BC. Deep gratitude to for sharing her story and wisdom in leadership. This is such an important conversation to have right now as we all try to unravel the colonial programming that runs so deep in our organizations and individual psyches.
A key takeaway: leadership is not just about being in a top position. Everyone is a leader. The privilege for people in positions of power is the ability to help cohere other humans to a shared mission and support them in aligning with their highest gifts. Its moments like these that I really love my job as a journalist.
